  • The Moore the Merrier

     Edited 9:15 p.m. Jay Mwamba reports in the Irish Echo that James Moore is Headlining tonight in Long Island.This is his first eight rounder. He was training with Duddy in Florida. He has new sponsers. He had left Irish Ropes last year. I hope it all goes well for him and team Navillus. This is a new venture for Navillus, which is Sullivan backwards.You recall James lost a brother recently. Good Luck James!

  • I'm Ready!

    John Duddy!

    This is Hot! I went last night to the Jack Demsey Bar in N.Y.C. to pick up my Duddy tickets! The Manager was very sweet, Geraldine, I hope to get back there for a beer one day. Last night I had to drive there after work. I drive all day so I wasn't looking forward to sitting in tunnel traffic. It took an hour to get through the tunnel!

    Chet is going. There are eight of us total going to the fight, 2 of my sons, me and 5 friends. My old coworker called today and he wants to go, I said you are on your own, meaning he won't be sitting with us cause he waited. I think the band the Wolftones are playing at intermission, but don't qoute me on that.

  • Bo-Duddly

    Today we await a press release by Team Duddy on his next fight with Bonsante. Ringside tickets are going to be given to the winner of the "name that card" contest. I will update as needed.

  • John Duddy and Mo' Moe

      John's mngmt has a press release coming on the 22nd. The Irish card is likley to include Maureen Shea, we will finally get to see her again. Andy Lee, another up and coming middleweight who i've written about before. The Clancy Brothers from Bosten.Henry coyle making a debut and possibly Sergio Mora (not Irish LOL) the Contender winner. I still want to win the tickets! Pick me!

  • John Duddy The Derry Destroyer

        With John holding an IBA title, it makes him hold the cards. People want a shot at him to prove themselves. John has had a long break between fights last time out and he is getting another, Sept. 29, 06 -  March 16th, 07. Not that he isn't training, he should be in great shape for this next bout as well. Prior to these circumstances ( heat dehydration and cut eyes ) John had a very busy schedule BUY CHOICE I might add. It's what he wanted. I am sure he would have liked to be back in the ring already.         I would like to see a Duddy vs. Campas 2, perhaps that will materialize should John lose in March.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR! John, if you're reading, I was as PROUD OF YOU AS COULD BE when I saw Stallone hitting the tire with a sledgehammer in the training montage of "ROCKY BALBOA"! He got that from YOU, man!

     

     

    It has now been 8 months since Mike took over this site for me due to my mom's illness. THANK YOU MIKE, I hope to be back one day.....
